Elementary lessons of Zoroastrians
please do not type Amen !
when i see many Parsis saying Amen instead of the Zartosti term "
Eydoon-Baad Eydoon-Tarz Baad it make me so sad !
the Zartosti term " Eydoon-Baad Eydoon Tarz Baad" (the short form is Eydoon Bad /Eydun Bad ) was used from Parthian & Sasanian time and it is %100 one Zartoshti word that is same as the word Amen!
Amen is one Aramaic word that use by Muslims, Christians that are follower of Abrahamic religions!
the Pahlavi word " Eydoon Baad Eydoon Tarz Baad " come from the Avestan term " Atha Jamyat yath Afrinami " that means " may this (prayer) come to true as (we) wished "
why we want to left behind our Zartoshti culture & terms and use one incorrect word ?
then let's begin it from today to use our Zartoshti terms , when we have one rich culture why we should borrow words from other cultures & religions?
